About Alan Beattie's Bulk Meats


The Beattie Family has been in the meat industry since 1939 with Alan’s Father (Oxo) starting as an apprentice in at Popes Butchers in Murray Street Perth and finishing as a health inspector in 1985.

Alan started at his dad’s shop in Vic Park in 1963 and bought his own shop in 1982 and still works there today.

Alan’s son Troy started in 1988 and is now the owner of the shop. Four generations later Alan Beatties is still run as a family business, with the latest edition being Troy’s daughter Jamie-Lee making that 79 years in the industry.

We specialise in all aspects of the butchering industry and still today all the cooking, sausage making and traditional smoking is done on the premises. So, if its quality and service you are after this is something we can guarantee and freight is very easy to organise, we currently send meat all over Australia.
